EQUIPPING OTHERS TO UNDERSTAND AND DEFEND OUR FAITH
Our Story
Most of our young people are leaving the Faith. The Ambassadors started as a group of concerned Christians who have suffered through the pain and loss of loved ones walking away from God, and we wanted to help. Most of us had never had formal theological training or even heard of the word “apologetics.” We started reading through the Bible with a renewed commitment to answering our own doubts and questions so we could help those who also had doubts and questions. It was hard work. It was messy. What we hoped would be a few months of Bible study turned into many years of grappling with profound truths, and even now is only the beginning of a lifelong journey.
But what we found along the way was worth it! First, we found a loving community that accepted us with our doubts and questions and wanted to find the same answers we were looking for. Second, we found that the Bible had answers. Great answers! To ALL our hard questions! It doesn’t mean we’ve stopped wrestling with God or that we no longer have real doubts that can sometimes still burden us. We've learned how to think clearly and consistently about difficult topics and engage the Bible and each other with uncompromising tenacity.

Our Mission
Train Portland area youth, and those who equip them, to know God’s truth and think biblically, so that they can recognize and refute falsehoods, and initiate respectful discussions with non-believers and those who have turned away from the Christian faith.
